I love Nate to bits, but this beat by Sumgii is a bit jarring. Similar to kissing a girl who is the splitting image of Naomi campbell, with a cleft lip. There is something overwhelmingly uneasy about it. Don’t get me wrong though, it certainly has it’s moments of pure bliss and as much as I have a fond appreciation for bass it doesn’t get more minimally awkward than this. Regardless focusing on the positives Nate gives yet another stella performance, his wordplay is a couple notches short of phenomenal, a title he is sure to attain in due time. That being said its good to see someone experimenting with his craft. That ultimately is the only way to learn. If you havent already, go get the Mixtape “NeverAverageTalkingExcellent”
