In my opinion Hyperdub are one of the few record labels that are really pushing the envelope in regards to electronic music. Not just British electronic music but the global collaboration as well. LV who was on just jam last night has an album soon to be released that I for one cannot wait to hear. The video for the lead single and album titled ‘Sebenza’ captivated my attention with thumping baseline and synths as well as the fun loving South African Okmalumkoolkat inspired visuals. This is a more weedy rap inspired track, slow yet smooth in delivery like an articulate porn star or a spitting cobra. Catch LV playing in Brighton on 17th Aug, Fabric on 7th Sept, Edinburgh 19th Sept..and a couple of others he forgets.
