Plan B is trying to address something more political than a select amount of emcees try to address once they reach a position of widespread acclaim and authority. The Akalas’ and the Lowkeys, to name a couple have been banging on the social awareness drum for a long time to little or no avail. Also they have done it just as in-depth and articulate. The difference is that Plan B is now a huge commercial artist and has gone back to what got him well respected but not necessarily popular amongst the mass commercial public. Now at least he has a huge audience whether or not they listen is a different matter but at least he is doing something that considering his position maybe considered against the grain. Sadly the footage is dated because everyone who had a camera, documented last years riots, still the mixing of more current footage with that is very well done and the cast of this video give a great performance as directed by the director of Top Boy
