To be honest wasn’t a fan of DELS or wouldn’t have pretended to know to much about him about a year ago. Having said that my man is on his hustle and a constant stream of solid material coupled with strong visuals, some hit and miss has established him and a progressive UK rapper. This is credit to the young man himself and to BIG DADA who are definitely leading the way in promoting UK talent the right way. It most certainly can’t be about the album sales but their artist seem to have freedom to express themselves and their sound. Their A&R department should give themselves a round of hi-5’s because they are moving in the right direction. In the UK we are very quick to criticize because we are so easily conscious and unconsciously influenced by our American neighbours (and it’s not their fault) but we’re a strong creative Island that would benefit from rewarding our own and being proud of those who take a risk to make themselves stand out for the right reasons. No gimmicks, no frills, just creative homegrown talent. BIG DADA and DELS I salute you.
