Heat (xxxy vs Swing Ting refix) by Wifey LDN
Swing Ting is DJs Samrai and Platt. They run Manchester. If you don’t believe us, check their mix for Fat City, where UK dancehall star Lady Chann tells you this very fact to your face. To be fair it’s a kind of job share with xxxy, a Manny man himself and one of the baddest producers about at the minute. He’s a two-time headliner at Wifey and someone with releases on tons of labels including Fabric, Infrasonics, Ten Thousand Yen and Orca.
In a historic team up, they’ve turned General Levy’s “Heat” into a filthy, grimy bashment house bomb. It’s got all it needs: dramatic orchestra hits, head-boggling fast chat and properly nasty bass. RK and Ralph LTF played it as an exclusive on their last Deja Vu FM show.
Because we like you all a lot, though, we’re GIVING IT AWAY FOR NOTHING.
Hit download on the widget up there or head to the SoundCloud page. Rinse it out, tell your friends — and if you’re in London do not miss these boys at Wifey this Friday 15 July.
Find more details at the Wifey website, but know that Spatial (of Infrasonics Records) and DJ Eastwood will be co-headlining and that entry is free all night.
