Mentioned Spike Jonze a couple of days ago on Skateboard Tuesday. Finally the trailer for his up coming feature ‘Where the wild things are’ emerged yesterday. I’ve been a bit slack on my orange wednesday game and still haven’t seen The Watchmen. But I’m gonna have a cinema marathon and see Tyson and definately this flick when it comes out, which is only round the conrner in October!?. Anyway a good way to start the morning. Based on a famous childrens novel (I never heard of it because I’ve only just learnt to read) by Maurice Sendak and produced by Tom Hanks. It’s about the imaginary stories fo a boy called Max. Considered a classic of American illustrated childrens literature, Jonze must have had to elaborate a lot more as the story is only ten sentences long.
